The American Jobs Project
The American Jobs Project (AJP) is a nonprofit, nonpartisan, think-and-do tank that identifies pathways to create good-paying jobs in advanced energy and manufacturing through evidence-based economic development.
AJP identifies the most promising advanced energy technologies that could be developed, given local conditions. They collaborate with local business people, policymakers, academics, and other stakeholders to capitalize on opportunities, remove barriers, fill in gaps, and implement politically feasible solutions.
The Berkeley Work and Intelligent Tools and Systems (WITS) group explores how to shape the world in the age of intelligent tools. WITS examines ways of working, earning, and learning that support the healthy development of our societies and economies, and the humans who inhabit them.
WITS is a group of interdisciplinary and international group of researchers from the fields of engineering and data science, economics, sociology, and political science. Through connections with international institutions and stakeholders, WITS supports ongoing dialogue and guide research, policy, and practice.
